7> History
The Last Supper is the largest of Leonardo’s paintings and
the only one executed on a wall that has survived. It represents
the moment after Christ has pronounced: «One of you will betray
me».
Leonardo froze the protagonists, representing their emotions and
gestures after Christ has announced that a traitor is present among
them.
